Welcome to our new website. Please excuse the mess as we migrate everything from our old website and prepare for the upcoming 2026 season.
The Anthracite Bicycle Coalition is northeastern Pennsylvania’s non-profit bike advocate group. We build community and teach repair skills through our bicycle cooperative, the Cycle Kitchen. We ride. And we advocate. In 2026 we plan to ride at least once a month from May to November and we hope you’ll join us. We build community
Youth and adults alike learn skills to build and maintaine their own bikes at our bicycle cooperative, the Cycle Kitchen, located inside Connell Park in South Scranton.
We ride
For fun, for fitness, and for the benefit of our community. From valley-cat scavenger hunts to food drive rides, there’s a ride for every skill level and type of cyclist.
We advocate
For cyclists, pedestrians, and all road users who benefit from safer streets and a cleaner environment in NEPA.
